MLK Youth Basketball Classic - MLK Classic Boys
Join us in honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. for our annual MLK Youth Basketball Classic. Boys & girls in grades 5th-8th will play in a game made up of players from Talbot, Caroline, and Dorchester Counties. Participants will receive a shirt, gift, and free lunch and can participate in 3-point, free throw, and half court shooting contests.Registration Deadline: December 19th, 2025.Games will be played at Talbot County Community Center. Doors open at 8:00 am for the opening ceremonies. Games begin at 9:00 am. NEW:The Elks Hoop Shoot local free throw contest will be held at the end of the day (approximately 1:00 pm). We will have winners from 6 age groups. Each winner will receive a trophy and will advance to the district competition. Winners can then advance to state, regional, and national competitions! No pre-registration is needed for the Hoop Shoot Competition. Open to ages 8-12.
