The Power Hockey Skate Drills class curriculum is designed to strengthen and advance the fundamentals of hockey skating. Skaters will increase their energy, power and quickness, learn critical transitions, and become more agile on the ice. All elements will be taught without a stick or puck. Skaters will learn the necessary fundamentals of power skating to be successful in game situations. Posture & Flow for Intermediate Skaters - Posture & Flow Winter Session
Posture and Flow for Intermediate Skaters is for aspiring figure skaters Pre-Alpha to Delta to work on figure skating specific skills. The learning focus is on building a good posture while skating, good form of the free leg position while gliding, and arms flow. Skaters will be learning or improving forward and backwards crossovers, forward two-foot turns and three-turns, mohawk steps, forward and backward edges, and step combinations.
Music, props and games will be incorporated.
This class is geared toward figure skaters as an introductory class modeled after Power and Edge. If you are looking for higher level class check out Power and Edge which begins at FS1.

Power Hockey Skate Drills - Spring Power Hockey skate Drills
The Power Hockey Skate Drills class curriculum is designed to strengthen and advance the fundamentals of hockey skating. Skaters will increase their energy, power and quickness, learn critical transitions, and become more agile on the ice. All elements will be taught without a stick or puck. Skaters will learn the necessary fundamentals of power skating to be successful in game situations. Skaters should have completed Pre-Alpha 2 or be proficient in skating forward and backwards prior to enrolling in this class. Each session will consist of 6 classes of 30-minute lessons. Skates and helmets will be provided, if needed. No other gear is needed.Fee: $100 per session
