Posture and Flow for Intermediate Skaters - Posture & Flow Fall Session
Posture and Flow for Intermediate Skaters is for aspiring figure skaters Pre-Alpha to Delta to work on figure skating specific skills. The learning focus is on building a good posture while skating, good form of the free leg position while gliding, and arms flow. Skaters will be learning or improving forward and backwards crossovers, forward two-foot turns and three-turns, mohawk steps, forward and backward edges, and step combinations.
Music, props and games will be incorporated.
This class is geared toward figure skaters as an introductory class modeled after Power and Edge. If you are looking for higher level class check out Power and Edge which begins at FS1.

Power & Edge Figure Skating in particular helps to develop more explosive acceleration, powerful strides, agility and balance on the ice. Posture and Flow for Intermediate Skaters - Posture & Flow Fall Session
Posture and Flow for Intermediate Skaters is for aspiring figure skaters Pre-Alpha to Delta to work on figure skating specific skills. The learning focus is on building a good posture while skating, good form of the free leg position while gliding, and arms flow. Skaters will be learning or improving forward and backwards crossovers, forward two-foot turns and three-turns, mohawk steps, forward and backward edges, and step combinations.
Music, props and games will be incorporated.

Join the excitement of an adult social sports league in Easton! Talbot County Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Easton Parks and Recreation and Talbot County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals to provide a social community-based volleyball league this winter. League will be 8 games. We will also be having additional competitions to support Toys for Tots. Registration deadline is October 14th. When: October 28th- December 16th, Games will be Tuesday evenings early game begins at 6:00. Where: Talbot County Community Center, Easton, MDWho: Adults 18+, Team registration or Individual (Free Agent) registrationTeam registration: $300, Team Captain registers participants under team registration. Teams are 10-15 participants. Team captains are also responsible for communicating with TCPR, attending a team captain meeting and welcoming free agents to their team. Team registration should include at least 3 women. See program details for team registration form. TEAM CAPTAINS MUST FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW and return via email or drop off during office hours (8:00am-4:30pm). Payment must be submitted to complete registration. Individual registration: $25, register as an individual (Free Agent) and we will put you on a team! The Power Hockey Skate Drills class curriculum is designed to strengthen and advance the fundamentals of hockey skating. Posture and Flow for Intermediate Skaters - Posture & Flow Fall Session
Posture and Flow for Intermediate Skaters is for aspiring figure skaters Pre-Alpha to Delta to work on figure skating specific skills. The learning focus is on building a good posture while skating, good form of the free leg position while gliding, and arms flow. Skaters will be learning or improving forward and backwards crossovers, forward two-foot turns and three-turns, mohawk steps, forward and backward edges, and step combinations.
Music, props and games will be incorporated.
This class is geared toward figure skaters as an introductory class modeled after Power and Edge. If you are looking for higher level class check out Power and Edge which begins at FS1.

Join the excitement of an adult social sports league in Easton! Talbot County Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Easton Parks and Recreation and Talbot County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals to provide a social community-based volleyball league this winter. League will be 8 games. We will also be having additional competitions to support Toys for Tots. Registration deadline is October 14th. When: October 28th- December 16th, Games will be Tuesday evenings early game begins at 6:00. Where: Talbot County Community Center, Easton, MDWho: Adults 18+, Team registration or Individual (Free Agent) registrationTeam registration: $300, Team Captain registers participants under team registration. Teams are 10-15 participants. Team captains are also responsible for communicating with TCPR, attending a team captain meeting and welcoming free agents to their team. Team registration should include at least 3 women. See program details for team registration form. TEAM CAPTAINS MUST FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW and return via email or drop off during office hours (8:00am-4:30pm). Payment must be submitted to complete registration.
